How we verify clinics

Most comparison sites show you a badge they invented themselves. We check each clinic against the official register kept by the health authority in its own country, publish what we find, and link the source so you can repeat the check yourself. When a register says nothing about a clinic, we say that too.

Where the public data runs out

We would rather tell you what nobody can prove than imply we know it.

• No clinic-level surgery volumes exist anywhere. None of the twelve countries publishes verified per-clinic procedure counts. Where a profile shows a volume, it is the clinic's own figure, and we label it as such. National totals we show come from Eurostat.
• No public complication or revision rates by clinic. National joint registries in Czechia and Lithuania publish country-level aggregates only; Hungary's and Turkey's are closed systems; Croatia's is dormant; Thailand has none.
• No disciplinary histories. None of these registers exposes a public record of sanctions against an individual doctor.
• Reviews are Google's, not ours. We show one named source rather than blending scores, and Google does not verify that a reviewer was a patient.
